We are trying to keep it simple with fresh and local ingredients whenever we can. We will, of course, be using our own produce when it Is in season.

We are really lucky in Nutbourne to have the grower of the best tomatoes in the country. Further within the local area there are a number of producers of high quality produce. That said, we will, of course, buy in non local produce. But before it becomes part of our menu, we will taste every item. 

Cooking whenever we can, we will use fresh produce and first class ingredients. Does that mean we will never use a supermarket, of course not. It will, however, be the exception, never the rule. 

In season we will have lots of local produce for retail sale. Most will come from our small farm, with a little more from the village or neighbouring villages.
